Adrift in New York City, a recent college graduate’s life is upended by his father’s mistress. In the wake of moving on from school and moving into a loft, youthful Thomas Webb becomes a close acquaintence with a heavy drinker neighbor who apportions common thinking close by shots of bourbon. Webb’s reality before long comes crashing down when he discovers that his dad is having an unsanctioned romance with a lovely and enticing lady. Not entirely settled to separate the relationship, Thomas ends up laying down with her, starting a chain of occasions that will change all that he assumes he is familiar with his family and himself.
